You’ll need:
A working Windows 7 system with a DVD drive and administrator rights.
A Windows 7 installation DVD.
4GB USB drive or larger.
*Beware that all the data on the drive will be formatted and deleted.

1.Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories and right-click on Command Prompt. Select Run As Administrator.


2.Type:
DISKPART

*This will open up the partitioning application.

3.Type:
LIST DISK


Figure out which of the drives listed is your USB drive, and note the number. It’s crucial you get this right, or you’re going to end up losing data on other drives.

4.Type:

SELECT DISK 1   (Your USB Disk Number)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS
ASSIGN
EXIT

*The format process will begin

5.Insert Windows 7 DVD
6.Go back to command prompt, type:
Path of DVD-ROM):/BOOT/BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 (Path of USB)
For example: D:/BOOT/BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 U:

7.Copy everything from your DVD.
8.Boot from BIOS.
